What Are Lightning Lanes?
Lightning Lanes let you use a shorter line for select attractions at Walt Disney World.
There are two main options:
⚡ Lightning Lane Multi Pass
Choose up to 3 attractions in advance for each park day.
⚡ Lightning Lane Single Pass
Select popular attractions are purchased separately and are not included with Multi Pass.
What About Tiers?
Magic Kingdom, EPCOT and Hollywood Studios divide their initial Multi Pass selections into two groups.
You can choose:
1 from Tier 1 + 2 from Tier 2
OR
all 3 from Tier 2
Animal Kingdom does not currently have tiers.

When Can You Book?
Eligible Disney Resort guests: Beginning 7 days before check-in.
Most other guests: Beginning 3 days in advance, depending on ticket type.
Popular attractions and morning times can go quickly!
What Happens After Your First Lightning Lane?
Once you use your first Multi Pass Lightning Lane, you can select another available attraction.
And the tiers no longer apply!
Use one → book another → repeat throughout the day, subject to availability.
With Park Hopper benefits, you can also make eligible selections at another park.
My Biggest Lightning Lane Tip
Don't worry about getting perfect times immediately.
I prioritize the hardest-to-get Lightning Lanes first. Once they're secured, I start modifying times and trying to stack the selections into a park day that makes sense.
Getting this:
9:00 → 10:00 → 11:00 🙌
instead of:
9:00 → 1:30 → 4:00 😵💫
can make a BIG difference in your day.
